Harbor Island is located on South Carolina Highway 21 just 15 miles outside of Beaufort and right before Hunting Island State Park and Fripp Island.

Harbor Island is a 1,700 acre private seaside community with a man-guarded gate. Harbor Island has 2 1/2 miles of private,  uncrowded beach that is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the St. Helena Sound.  You will see plenty of sea oats, shrimp boats, dolphins, coastal birds as you sit and relax on the beach.  Harbor Island has a very laid back feeling where beach combing, exploring the beach, laying around in the soft breezes and reading are some of the favorites activities.  There are 4 clay tennis courts, swimming pools, volleyball, basketball courts , playground for the children,  fitness center, tennis pro shop and a cafe and grill by the main swimming pool.

Driving through Harbor Island in your golf cart you get a Key West feeling.  The rainbow of colors and personality of the homes brings you back to Jimmy Buffet music. Most all homes have a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, St. Helena Sound, Harbor River or the ever changing marshes. Some homes sit on the oceanfront, sound and marsh.
